Prior to co-founding Lenders Insight ®, Scott Korbin was First Vice President, Eastern Region, Retail Division for Irwin Mortgage Corporation with Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. In his role with Irwin, Scott was responsible for the production and operations of 13 Irwin offices from Connecticut to Florida. In his last year with Irwin, Scott's team was alone responsible for closing 6,002 transactions totaling $763,330,844, and for generating over $10,000,000 in Loan Officer Compensation, Branch Manager Incentives, and Net Branch Manager Profit Sharing. His 12 year history of success with Irwin began in 1991 shortly after he was asked to relocate, along with his family, from Arizona to turn-around a non-performing branch of D&N Mortgage Corporation in North Carolina. Since facilitating Irwin's acquisition of the D&N branches in January of 1992, by 1996 Scott had led the Raleigh Branch to become the most profitable branch at Irwin Mortgage, closing over 1,500 transactions. He took on the responsibilities of Southeast Area Manager in May of 1997 before assuming his role as Regional Manager in 2000. While Scott serves in other leadership roles within his mortgage company and real estate development company, he is also an active member in his community as a Board Member of the following organizations: Cary Community Foundation, Inc. Chabad of Cary, Inc. North Carolina Association of Mortgage Professionals Wessex Home Owners Association Scott earned his MBA from Arizona State University, and a BS in both Medical Physics and Middle Eastern Studies from the USAF Academy.
